Important 2026 Update
Texas DPS Now Uses RSD Connect
Effective October 1, 2026, Texas DPS transitioned License to Carry licensing services to RSD Connect.
Yasuke Arms submits applicable training results to the student’s RSD Connect account according to the current Texas DPS process.
Following guidance received directly from Texas DPS, Yasuke Arms also continues to provide students with an LTC-104 as proof of completed training while RSD Connect implementation issues are being resolved.
Keep your LTC-104 with your records. It can help document completed training if an issue occurs when your instructor submits your results through RSD Connect.
The LTC-104 does not replace the instructor’s submission of training results. Follow current Texas DPS and RSD Connect instructions if additional documentation is requested.

Qualification Details
Who This Service Is For
The Yasuke Arms Texas LTC shooting qualification is designed for students who have completed their LTC classroom training and need to complete the required in-person range instruction and handgun proficiency demonstration.
The range instruction and proficiency demonstration must be completed with a Texas Qualified LTC Instructor. Follow your enrollment instructions for the scheduled appointment length.
Qualification, Not Learn-to-Shoot Instruction
The Texas LTC handgun proficiency demonstration evaluates your ability to safely handle a handgun and successfully complete the required course of fire.
This service includes required range instruction, but it is not designed to teach a first-time shooter basic handgun operation or marksmanship immediately before qualification.
If you are new to firearms, have limited shooting experience, or are not comfortable safely loading, unloading, handling, and firing a handgun, Yasuke Arms recommends completing foundational handgun instruction before attempting your LTC qualification.
